MAN OF CINEMA
"Revenge is best when it's served with a Disclaimer".
Alfonso Cuarón so intricately adapted the story of the novel and created a much better thrilling and shocking thriller drama for us. Series literally pulls you into this book "Perfect Stranger" literally and make you believe the story told in the book is real and thats what happened, and in every new episode you keep guessing how the old father gona take the revenge for his dead son, until the last episode where the plot twist comes and we all left to see like fools including the father of dead son. Its really a great and shocking ending which i guess many didn't expect at all. But still one thing i didn't understand. (SPOILER AHEAD) If he was sadist and rapist and couldn't care less about her then why did he jump into the sea to save the kid and risk his own life .that did not make sense to me, and also to the nature of Jonathan's character. I felt it was a very convenient way of making it happen, just to turnaround the story. But still the series is visually stunning to watch, brilliant performances, also like the narration, it was like book reading which was unique.

Great depiction of protagonist turning into antagonist! Kevin Kline and Cate
Blanchett were obviously great. Leila George was surprisingly superb in her acting.
