Drama Thriller Crime
Legal drama is one of my fav genres.There is suspense, intrigue,perceptual and ideological battles and, finally, a reveal. This film has all of it, but what makes it remarkable is its dramatic depth! It's extremely difficult to keep the audience hooked to such a narrative(one crime, one suspect). Thanks to brilliant writing and fantastic performances, the level of engagement simply doesn't drop. Loved the ending. There is a sense of relief, but it's not the 'happily ever after' kind. There is closure, but one is still brimmed with questions. There is hope, but only at the expense of melancholia!
