You surely gona love your body more and appreciate it after watching this movie. What a fucking insane yet masterclass of a film. At the beginning it will make you say "FUCK YEAH😍!" but after that you will just say "OHH FUCK😲!" "OHH FUCKK😱!" "WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCKKK🤮🤮!". It will make you feel so disgusting, and that was the aim of the movie. *What you lost, will never come back. And if you force it, it will destroy you." It's so true in terms of your body. The absurd level of beauty which industry demands from especially actresses, it just pushes so many of them to edge and end up trying so many drugs and what not to make them look young. It's sickening to say the least. Not just actors, even an ordinary person gets obsessed with their level of beauty, dont accept the way they are, which leads to body abuse, mental health issues. Director Coralie Fargeat absolutely nailed these things in the movie, she created monster and showed the mirror to it, to say you are fucking ugly. But the monster is not you, its the industry, its ugly as fuck and it deserve ugliness, i think that was she wanted to say at the climax when that freaking monster comes infront of everybody and just traumatized everyone for life, it was fucking beautiful. Film doesn't hold back in terms of anything, it's like you are the person that is happening with, it's so immersive, it crawls inside you and makes you feel that disgust and pain. And the Cinematography is so fucking good, that is what makes this a great psychological horror. It captures every moment, every beat in detail makes it look eerie, creepy and amazing. And Demi Moore my god what a performance. She just hits it out of the park in the last 40-50minutes of the film. She totally deserves a nomination for the best actress for oscars. Margaret Qualley was great too. I don't know how many people can really take it all in and don't close their eyes or turn their head or throw up. Because it brings out the actual ugliness inside you and says this is you, just accept it, and don't push yourself for something that you can't have in your body. I absolutely loved this film.
