MAN OF CINEMA
There's always unseen boundary lines between kid and adult which should not be
crossed. But based on the child's innocent lie people judge & assume he is the culprit and all those lines become a cage which isolates that man from the society. When Klara lies about Lucas it's not that she did it deliberately, it's the love and affection that she needed badly. She was often ignored and not cared for by her parents who always involved in arguments with each other, and Lucas was the one who helped in kindergarten, walking her home, letting his dog play with her, she developed a loving relationship, and when lucas denies her present and way of affection she lied out of hate and fear. Kids imagination is wild and sometimes they imagine things they saw and they connect those with the closest person they know. In this case it was lucas. There is a very thin line between black and white, when its ally grey that's where trouble escalates. Lucas was wrongly accused and treated badly by the local community for the things he never did. Its the trauma that he has to carry for the rest of his life. Mads Mikkelsen's emphatic performance just elevates the emotions of the film to another level. Director Thomas Vinterberg created a horrifying brutal story that confused for a moment to understand what is truth and what is false. In the end also you don't get resolution to the narrative but at least it's satisfying. It's an accurate depiction of how years of trust and friendship can be destroyed by just one imaginative innocent lie. It forces viewers to look into uncomfortable truths and the trauma of the victim. The movie asks difficult questions about parenting , trust and society we live in and it pushes us to pursue answers in our own way and try to come to terms with it.

This movie portrays how an innocent lie has a potential of destroying the life
of a person who did nothing wrong.

"The Hunt" took me on an intense emotional ride I wasn't prepared for.
Mads Mikkelsen's portrayal of Lucas is raw and compelling. The film isn't just about a man falsely accused;
