Dhoom Dhaam

Yami Gautam and Pratik Gandhi, that offers an enjoyable one-time watch, despite its predictable plot twists and passable writing, making it a fun, breezy entertainment. Dhoom Dhaam is a rom-com caper, directed by Rishab Seth, that follows a mismatched newly married couple, Koyal Chadda (Yami Gautam Dhar) and Veer Poddar (Pratik Gandhi), who find themselves on the run after their wedding night is interrupted by armed goons searching for someone named Charlie13. The film blends action, romance, and humor, even if not exceptional the film feels like a fast paced breezy film which leaves you with no regrets. Yami Gautam shines as the spirited Koyal, a foul-mouthed car racer, while Pratik Gandhi plays Veer, a phobia-ridden veterinarian13. The film attempts to create a mismatched dynamic between the two, with Koyal being assertive and Veer being meek. While the actors exude energy, the film's writing is only passable, and the plot twists are predictable. One scene where Veer confidently participates in a stripping sequence is a standout, but the film generally doesn't take many risks and is driven mostly by the leads who are magnetic. Overall, Dhoom Dhaam is a harmless diversion but doesn't fully achieve its entertainment aspirations. Not all movies are meant to be like that some are made for fun and pure entertainment without being cringe. The film has good making, but the writing is only passable.
