Kanguva

What a lackluster fantasy action movie! It had promising story potential, but suffers from bad execution. Kanguva is relentless, and not in a good way. This isn’t momentum; it’s dizzying unfocussed pace that leaves you queasy, disconnected. it’s too distracted to stay with any one idea, too much seems to be happening which lacks fixed focus on character arcs and gripping screenplay. the film isn’t able to whip up drama, fails emotional aspects, or even action thrills, there are a few engaging scenes, but much of the film falls flat. It lacks the depth that the story demands. Surya shines in his role as Kanga, and his dedication deserves praise, but a strong performance alone can’t save this weak script. The background music is quite ineffective too, very loud and lousy. Visuals are good to watch on the big screen, only positive of the movie. Overall the movie failed to deliver the hype, and this mistake is on the writing and screenplay rather than the Surya's performance.
