Strange Darling

When you see the word Strange in the title, then don't expect the movie to benormal. First 15 minutes i was confused as fuck, what is even happening? It has one of the weirdest opening acts i have seen, on top of that film tells a story in chapters which are not linear, but it surely makes you intrigued and glued to it and wanting to know what really happens. The film has a message in the beginning saying this film is about the mysterious serial killer, but it never really tells who it is. So the movie plays on that really well, it tricks you into believing that man carrying gun in the beginning and running after girl is actual serial killer, because we tend to see women as victims and it never even crosses our minds that she could be psycho serial killer for change, and thats what this movies tricks you in. Non linear suspenseful sequences, great performance by Fitzgerald, unique storyline and screenplay which just plays with your mind. It is so cleverly made. A slasher thriller at its best.
