Angelina puts a stellar performance in this biography of Maria Callas. The film focuses mostly on her last days, where Maria is really grappling between reality and her dying voice. A singer once mesmerized everyone is not even able to please herself with that voice. I really liked the chemistry and bond between maria and her butler Ferruccio and Housemaid Bruna, they were with her as support in the days where no one wanted her anymore. The world she knew around her crumbling down, in a way all these years she was living in her opera, and when that illusion fades away, she finds it hard to cope up with the changes it brought. It's a well biography, which dwells both on her past and present with close lenses. The one reason you should watch this is because for Angelina, she was really good in this.
