Synopsis
FBI Agent Lee Harker is assigned to an unsolved serial killer case that takes unexpected turns, revealing evidence of the occult. Harker discovers a personal connection to the killer and must stop him before he strikes again.

There is a new genre of horror that I am increasingly falling in love with.Atmospheric horror. This is the type of horror that is not necessarily characterized by jump scares or sudden moments of shock and violence; instead, the films in this genre rely more on slowly and gradually building an eerie atmosphere within the film that eventually rubs off on the people watching it. Longlegs is possibly one of the best films made in this genre yet. There's a deafening silence throughout the film, designed perfectly to evoke a kind of dread with you that you'd only ever felt in your worst nightmares. Every frame is meticulously crafted to elicit a sense of loneliness by creating large negative spaces in massive rooms and halls and placing the characters within them in a way that feels unnatural and morbid.
