During my exam yesterday, I suddenly felt the urge to cry.It wasn't because I couldn't remember anything for the exam, but rather because I recalled a scene from the movie "Three Of Us" featuring Shefali Shah and Jaideep Ahlawat, specifically the Ferris wheel scene that I had watched the night before. "Three of Us" could have easily been titled "Udgam" or "The Origin". It's one of those films that truly embodies the cliché 'content is king'. In a landscape where audiences are inundated with box office numbers of supposed blockbusters, this movie stands out as a breath of fresh air. It's as captivating as the early dawn and as serene as the fading sunset. The casting in "Three of Us" is impeccably fitting, devoid of any false notes from any of the actors. Shefali Shah leads from the front, her expressions, serene composure, the power of her silence, and the simplicity in her dialogue delivery eloquently captivate in every scene, drawing you in effortlessly. Jaydeep Ahlawat reaffirms his position among the best contemporary actors, masterfully portraying a challenging role with finesse. Tackling the subtleties of a subdued, introverted character, Jaydeep excels with distinction. The supporting cast exhibits technical prowess, each actor impeccably doing justice to their respective roles, regardless of their screen time. Ultimately, this film is a small yet radiant gem that leaves an enduring impact, staying with you indefinitely.
