Raghu Thatha

A simple story, but easily talks about feminism, language imposition, patriarchy, customs etc without any boring spoon feeding or any lengthy lecturing dialogues. The film is so grounded and never ever felt anything odd. Another thing I liked about this film is the color palette used. Like a Wes Anderson touch. Even though it's a comedy film, some dialogues should've been more powerful, at least like a statement. The film criticises some so-called feminists, who are a typical patriarchal product inside. Keerthi Suresh and the whole cast superbly played their roles. Most of the comedies worked. Songs, BGM, DOP, editing, art and in all aspects, the movie is so good. Superb writing and direction also. Overall a must-watch movie.
