- I don't know why I loved this so much but it was one hell of a ride.
'Whiplash' directed by Damien Chazelle is an intense psychological drama that keeps you hooked throughout the film and you go on a wild journey with the characters. The characters ; Neiman and Fletcher potrayed by Miles Teller and J.K Simmons respectively has done an incredible job, J.K Simmons especially has given a menacing and ruthless potrayal of Fletcher who has his reasons for what he is doing but which is harmful to the others. The growth of the characters were potrayed very nicely and it was very realistic. The direction by Damien Chazelle was incredible paired with the stunning cinematography, score and the fast paced screenplay. The film was great from start to finish with a brilliant climax aswell. Loved it.
