You could make an argument as to why all these characters are one note and how shabbily they treat their spouses.Enter the happy go lucky angel in the form of Biju Menon who’s a ladies man and the absolute opposite to suraaj and gang which is why the tension between these characters slowly build up though you don’t have many sequences with these two characters having one- one conversations before the inciting incident which the movie is about . And when you realise things are going to go bonkers it moves to the police station and this is where I felt the film lost its grip.The director wants to delay the inevitable but he chooses to bring in mundane subplots of cases within the police station and this completely dilutes the built up tension and becomes a frustrating watch and by the time the actual explosion happens it’s too late . Lijomol who’s such an intense actor has a lot of scenes but doesn’t do enuf justice to her acting prowess as she just has to look depressed .I expected more drama and characters with more depth considering the actors in the movie .
