A great film with outstanding direction, magnificent visuals and mind-blowing
acting performances. While I hated the creative choice of Justin Kurzel in the Assassin's Creed film, I simply loved everything he crafted with this one. The way the film tells us about Aryan Nations, white supremacist groups, neo-nazis, KKK, The order, anti-semitism and the church of Jesus Christ - christian without preaching or without losing our attention is just insane writing. Kudos to Zach Baylin. While i loved the writing for more parts, I still wanted a lot more like how Terry Husk felt with the passage of months and years and I wanted some areas to be emotional and intense. The acting performances by Jude Law, Nicholas Hoult, Jurnee Smollett, Alison Oliver and Tye Sheridan were magnificent. Each and everyone was at their peak mentality. The way they expressed the emotions was fantastic. While Jude performed exceptionally, Nicholas was the show-stealer. He portrayed the role of the villain with such ease. Like how Fahadh Faasil ruled the film with his mind-blowing acting in a villain role in Maamannan, Nicholas Hoult did it in The Order. Will be looking forward to him as Lex Luthor in Superman Alison Oliver's expression when she hears the advice of Terry, if stretched for 20 more seconds, would have left me teary-eyed. Coming the cinematography, man o man, Adam Arkapaw comes up with one of the brilliant and splendid shots i have ever seen. The way he shot every scene reflected his love for cinema purely. The shot when Alan died was just pure cinematic brilliance. Peak peak visuals. The editing by Nick Fenton was good. The color palette was incredible. It sets the tone and the atmosphere of the film very well and the contrast to the character's emotions were done well too. The fire burning on the faces of the characters in a beautiful blue atmosphere is just peak cinema. The score by Jed Kurzel was fantastic. It elevated many bits and the way he left some main sequences with no music or score was perfectly balanced stuff. The stuff that was also annoying in Assassin's Creed. The sound design was great too. This is such an underrated gem and it needs more recognition for sure. Subjectively, it deserves a 8/10 on imdb. Loved this film. I hate the freaking Tobacco kills banner in Prime video which was present the whole freaking runtime. Why tf do they need to do that?????? Just why????????
