What an absolute fucking mess.Right from the start to end. In the 2hr 33 mins film you wouldn't understand what was the core aspect they wanted to focus on but it was definitely not the emotions. But you would ask isn't that what is supposed to be the main core of it? Yes but the makers had 2 scenes in begining to show their bond, one the opening scene where their dad commits suicide and let me tell you wouldn't feel little ounce of sadness in that scene, bcoz it was so rushed and they just wanted to show it for sake. That was supposed to be the foundation of their bond, invest some time into it, tone it down, that suicide was supposed to provide shock value as well as heartbreak. but i did not feel it. Then there is another scene where they play basketball. That's all, that's all you see in the beginning about their relationship, we never get connected to the characters let alone the relationship of siblings. Then the very next day he flies out to Hanshi Dao( fiction dictatorship country) and gets caught for a little pack of drugs and gets the death penalty for it 😭. I understand you wana do superhero shit with alia by rescuing her brother from the prison, but atleast create a fucking believable case against him. Who gets the death penalty for a little pack of drugs. Then this over protective sister flies into the dictatorship country and breaks into prison with life jacket on and she fucking successful in it😭. Makers wanted to do some Mission Impossible shit, but at least make it cool and fantastic if you can't make it believable or realistic. that climax was really bad. Like there are so many little things in this movie which are so atrocious and stupid to watch. The film fails in all aspects of the emotions, the action, the thriller, nothing works. Even alia was mid in her performance, rest just don't provide enough to pull this bad script.
