Firstly thumbs up to SK for staying in a meter that’s close to keeping it realistic despite the story organically giving massy moments. The film truly begins to sai Pallavi as she shoulders the film despite the inconsistently written character . The film keeps running at a breakneck speed and it obviously reduces the depth of the characters , both the romance and the army portions.The romance and the family scenes are the best in the movie and I felt I would have liked to know more bout Mukund than what we know from his wife or the mother character played by a fantastic Geetha kailasam. The pre interval sequence as really well done compared to the climax action sequence. The last 20 mins were very moving which could have easily been a melodramatic but appreciate the director that he has kept it very dignified . Esp sai Pallavi’s performance in the end is exemplary.Even the father character was very natural . Rajkumar Periasamy is a very unique voice . I had liked his debut film Rangoon cos of the detailing and world building and he has done a pretty good job .These are baby steps with how a big hero film is treated when they could have easily milked it way more but they keep it as genuine as they could. Hope the film wins big at the box office so that stars are braver .
