Today, I want to talk about how Shoojit Da takes characters from real life and
turns them into stories about survival, stories that show survival as a chance. A chance you can manipulate. A chance that is a risk. But if you don't take that risk, survival simply won't happen. This is the story of a man who is brilliant at selling. In the beginning, we see him as someone deeply passionate about his work. He shoulders every responsibility without complaint and pours his energy into everything he does. This passion defines him - it's what drives him forward, even when life throws its hardest challenges at him. When Arjun, played by Abhishek Bachchan, is diagnosed with cancer, his journey takes a dramatic turn. But instead of giving up, he takes charge of his fate. He doesn't see survival as just luck; he treats it like a problem to solve, a challenge to overcome. His brilliance at selling extends beyond his job-he sells his ideas to the doctors, to the people around him, and even to himself. He manipulates his circumstances, using every ounce of his passion and persistence to fight the odds stacked against him. Passion - Shoojit Da shows us, doesn't fade. It evolves and adapts, but it stays. Arjun's passion for survival, much like his passion for his work, becomes his driving force. Yet, Arjun is not a man nobody trusts. Even his name, "Arjun," which carries a legacy of greatness, happened in an ironical way. He's called "average" by those around him. But this idea of being "average" lies at the heart of the story. It's not just a label; it becomes a challenge. The film is about breaking free from that word and proving it wrong. Arjun's journey is one of transformation-from being someone underestimated to someone who redefines what it means to survive and thrive. He starts as a man overlooked by everyone, including himself, but through sheer willpower, he flips the narrative. Shoojit Da's storytelling reminds us that survival isn't about waiting for miracles. It's about making them happen. Arjun's journey is a testament to the fact that the so-called "average" have within them a spark that can surprise the world. Sometimes, it even surprises them.
