POV of slaves who rose against slavery by fighting against their king and theinvaders from japan. A unique setup because we haven't seen any film where the early days of the Japanese invasion and struggles of the Korean empire through the lens and lives of slaves. The story is centred around majorly two characters who became friends and then rivals later, one the noble born and the other is a slave. It has some really thrilling action Sequences which makes this movie enjoyable. The climax fight between the three characters is also great. Don't compare it to the likes of Shogun, but this movie is a treat for action lovers with perfectly choreographed sword fighting. The film visually also looks stunning. The only letdown for me was the story, should have been better.
