Nikhil Advani's Vedaa struggles to deliver a compelling narrative, despite itsambitious themes surrounding caste oppression. John Abraham's character is underutilized, offering a familiar action hero presence that lacks depth and emotional resonance. The film's action sequences, reminiscent of *John Wick 4*, feel mediocre and uninspired, failing to bring anything fresh to the genre. While Sharvari Wagh shows growth and potential in her role, her performance is overshadowed by a screenplay that falters, especially in the second half, where pacing issues and weak writing detract from the story's impact. The music fails to elevate the film, contributing to an overall mediocre execution that leaves much to be desired. Additionally, the film's attempts at social commentary often feel forced and superficial, missing the mark in delivering a meaningful message.
