Fandry

Fandry powerfully depicts the caste-based discrimination in rural Maharashtra,providing a raw insight into the lives of those subjected to it. At its heart is Jabya, a teenage boy from the Kaikadi tribe, traditionally a nomadic people considered untouchable by the village's dominant caste, and the unrequited love he has for an upper caste girl in his school.
