that's how i like it. Black bag offers a high stake complex spy thriller where George is ought to find the traitor from his team including her wife played by Cate Blanchett. And this mission involves more sharp dialogues and questions than usual action scenes. That's where the clever screenplay comes in hand. While you are impressed by the style,wits and performances, But somewhere it feels the story itself doesn't carry much weight. The Severus which has been talked about a lot in the movie, never really feels like you completely understand the importance of it , it also doesn't make you anxious or thrilled. But other elements do. It feels a little too self-indulgent for the majority of the film’s runtime. Which holds back the movie from being a damn good addition into the offbeat spy genre
