When the US Navy SEAL invades a civilian home for search operation they get bombarded by rebels all around the house making US troops stuck in the centre of destruction. The whole movie reenacted using the memories of real life officers who were involved in the incident. So we see the story moving forward only from their POVs, we do not know who is attacking, from where they are attacking or any other information. The movie just immerses you in that situation and endures all that horror as it happened in real life. It captures all sights, sounds and shocks of combat like in real time, giving you that harrowing experience. It is a great example of real life war enactment from every single minute detail and movements captured so perfectly. As if you are seeing actual footage filmed by US troops. It's not the kind of films which endorses or romanticizes the military or their actions. It doesn't serve any propaganda. Instead it shows the troops in their most vulnerable and helplessness state they ever found themselves in their lives. It literally humanizes them to the core and shows these people were like us and no superheros. Even the combat sequences are very skillfully executed making it one of the best technically tight, gripping, brutal and intense action flicks you will see in the last few years. When the movie ends it shows its the local innocent citizens who are real victims in these wars. Whose house was invaded, thrashed and left in ruins at the end, questioning what this real war actually achieved by any means? Absolutely nothing!
