Allégorie citadine

deeper human philosophy about our lives and ourselves through hidden symbols and arts. Basically the movie talks about three different stages. Imagine we as humans are prisoners of our own lives(prisoner in cave), we are chained by our desires, greed and other things that we are not able to look beyond the blank wall infront, we cant see at others around us, we cant even see ourselves, all we can see is our shadows on wall which is our reality. The second stage is when we finally break out from the usual life( cave), and see other things around and realise that there is another reality from what we were living before. But seeing that other reality either we will be scared and run back to old life or get over that fear and chains and start to appreciate the small things around us. Third stage is when you finally found the light/happiness and you decided to tell other prisoners from the cave about this other reality. But just like we were, others also are blinded by greed,desires and running the race that they will not believe you and will call you crazy for living a life that is not the norm according to the society, they will either kill you for it or banish you. This is what i understood from the allegory but there can be other meanings too, because allegory means hidden meaning and how we perceive it. I just loved how Alice embedded this into city/urban life, because this allegory makes more sense in it.
