Borderlands

Based on the video game of the same name, Borderlands is about Lilith (played by Cate Blanchett), an extraordinary bounty hunter with a mysterious past, who returns to her home planet, Pandora the most tumultous planet in the galaxy. With a mission to find the missing daughter of Atlas, Lilith makes unlikely alliances with a team of misfits from a mercenary to a scientist and a robot. Together, they must battle formidable aliens and bandits to reveal the deep secrets of Pandora. So not only must this team find a way to work with each other, to play to their own strengths and deliver an army that can stand up to the most powerful enemies, they will eventually have to fight for each other in this game of life and death. With actors like Cate Blanchett and Jamie Lee Curtis, Borderlands builds a narrative from the video game, keeping the thrill and action at the forefront.
