Synopsis

Meh! If painful mediocrity is your shtick, go fetch! Else stay put, don'tbother. Deadpool and Wolverine, despite the plethora of cameos can't salvage the absence of a plot. Ryan Reynolds comic timing slowly ferments into verbal diarrhea. Hugh Jackman draws his claws with intensity, sniggers and grunts, emotes his dialogues with utmost sincerity, but again it doesn't help. If this film is only meant for hardcore Deadpool comic book fans then maybe I'm not its core audience, but the minute it attaches itself to the MCU, it becomes a 'me problem'. Lately an average movie going experience is as forgetful as scrolling through memes on Instagram. Not one line of original dialogue, no stakes, only half witted attempt at mic drop comedy, no villain is an actual threat, no amount of exposition and jargon justifies the warped multiverse bullshit. If you want fan servicing re-watch. " Spiderman no way home". He looks a lot like Deadpool anyway, AND if you'd like to watch a film where a mutant travels across the timeline with a solid plot, where the stakes are critical and the fights have meaning, the superpowers are not a mere display of slow motion shots and tiresome VFX, watch X-Men Days of the Future past, and yes Wolverine is in that too! This movie felt like Ryan Reynolds had blue balls for Hugh Jackman and convinced Kevin Feige to sanction their threesome. And for the love of God, Ryan Reynolds phew! Know when to stfu, let the first joke simmer down before you ruin it with your next.
