Transformers One

For me what really worked in the Transformers franchise is the idea of conflict between man and machines(transformers) who were aliens living on earth but felt like you can relate to it. I felt that's what lacking in this animation movie. And lack of emotions, well they are autobots but they do have emotions and feelings as shown in the movie, but they never feel real to me. The animation style is cool, but I felt it was more glossy and shiny for my liking. The idea of showing the origin story of the optimus prime was a good one, but it has several loops holes and the background story of the matrix and other things of backstory don't really make any sense and it lacks the energy, emotions and intensity. I felt the movie was more targeting the younger audience than adults. I felt very it was just decent action animation.
