This is not your typical romcom; based on a book, it's 'fanfiction' with funnybits around the story of 'real' unexpected connections with people at the most random times when you didn't know you needed one. It's also commentary on matriarchal sacrifices and how such connections are perceived by the society for women vs those for men + on the perils of fame if you're not used to it. Bad? No. Good?.... If you have nothing else to watch and are an Anne Hathaway fan, sure, good. You'll not be bored......probably?
