Why do boys have to behave a certain way in society to be called man/boy? Iftwo female friends have an intimate friendship with holding hands, rest on each other shoulder or back that is okay. But if the same things are done by two male best friends then they are labelled as gay. Why cant boys have an feminine side in them and why can't girls have manly side. All the behaviours are just emotions. And should be considered to judge someone's sexuality or gender. This movie so beautifully tries to highlight that. Leo and Remi are two best friends who always play together and do most activities of their life together. They are inseparable, but in school they get bullied and called names which causes crack in their friendship and what causes next is very fatal. Film deals with intimate relationships , teenage issues , suicide, grief and regret very delicately. It is really a deep and thoughtful movie which talks about human emotions and their ways to deal with them in great detail. I was really moved by it. There is calmness to this film which will grow on you and will absorb you in those thoughts. One of the very few movies which talks about so mature things but involves two kids in the center.
