As the story unfolds, the truth behind the crime that sent him to jail—and the reason he is seeking revenge—is slowly revealed. There's nothing wrong with bringing back the classic 90's high-range revenge mass formula. But if filmmakers want to reintroduce it to today's audience, they should refresh the storytelling and characters while preserving the nostalgic charm of those old mass entertainers. The screenplay is highly predictable. Most scenes can be guessed well before they happen, and the intentions of almost every character are obvious from the beginning. Shaji Kailas' direction fails to elevate the weak script. Joju George has the usual screen presence for a mass role, but the film doesn't give him the proper build-up to make those moments land. As a result, the intended theatrical highs feel flat and ineffective. The revenge story is very familiar. The villains destroy the hero's family, and he comes back to take revenge. The only fresh idea is that Paulson has just 10 days to finish his mission. The film also creates some interest through a missing character and the identity of another person who is hiding. These ideas could have made the story more engaging, but they never grow beyond interesting concepts. One of the biggest problems is how Paulson manages to convince the police that someone else is responsible for the crimes happening around him. The film never explains this convincingly, making those portions feel forced and unconvincing. Overall, the outdated screenplay and predictable storytelling fail to support Shaji Kailas' signature filmmaking style or Joju George's high-voltage action, resulting in a film that never moves beyond its era.
