A supreme MCU film that boasts staggering VFX, stunning BGM & some insanely breathtaking stunt choreographies. With an exceptional screenplay and casting, it truly was MARVELous.

Out of so many things that surprised me, the top two surprises were the impeccable casting and the brilliant cultural exploration. We know how many Hollywood films were caught under the whitewashing controversy, but Shang Chi and its creators stayed so true to the heritage and casted the right people for the right role. Half of this film's victory was with the casting. SImu Liu as Shang Chi fits like a glove and his physique and charisma during combat were so gratifying. Awkwafina is an average US citizen who I feel was used only for bringing in a humour and for that one sloppy final stunt which was a little too cliched for this film(🙄). Tony Leung as The Mandarin was ruthless and he overshadowed everyone else in the film with his incredibly performance. He is a legend. The plot is unlike anything we've seen before. This doesn't feel like an MCU product most of the time coz of its non-linear narration and how perfectly that worked out for this film. The revelations and the bombshells were so good and the background score was remarkable & was absolutely rewarding. The VFX was phenomenal all around, except for a couple of scenes which felt sub-par from the other VFX shots in the movie. The action choreography is by far the best in the entire MCU (after Infinity war) that will completely overwhelm you. Yeah the final battle was a little too much tbh, coz up until that point this film was near flawless. Nonetheless, every single stunt sequences was jaw-dropping and I was completely drenched in the pure visual splendor of the film and was gasping at the magnanimity of the entire staging. With a minor and negligible flaws, Shang Chi is undoubtedly the greatest Solo/Origin film ever in the MCU and will easily be in everyone's top 5 best MCU film of all time.
