It's quite natural if someone feels similar to the Midhun Manuel Thomasthriller templates, from Anjaam Pathiraa to Garudan because it's very much evident. I saw in a recent interview that the filmmaker wants his audience not to expect another 'Anjaam Pathiraa' and more of an emotional crime drama, even from the trailer I was expecting some sort of a neo-noir type. But the 'cops struggling with personal tragedies' area is not much explored and falls to the usual cat and mouse game and a flashback sequence which doesn't offer anything fresh. But was it boring?? Not at all!ย Ozler is constantly engaging with twists and turns and an impactful second act with the introduction of a surprising character which is fairly enough for a one-time theatre watch. Midhun Mukundan's contribution to Soundtrack is the best part. The cliched structure is the main drawback of this medical crime investigation thriller.
