More than 2hrs of hardcore straightforward courtroom emotional drama.Which has every element of court drama should possess. Plus the performance of mohanlal and priya mani. Its about navigating the complicated corners of the Indian judicial system to find the truth which was open on the surface to everyone but needed to prove it because even if its true it won't get any justice without any evidence. Such is the state of the judicial system, because as the justice statue looks like blind person, it only understands the language of evidence. What happens when blind rape victim seeks for justice infront of blind judicial system. Its really a battle which mohanlal had to go through to prove it. an ousted advocate fighting for the justice of a young woman (Anaswara Rajan) violated by a man who comes from wealth, even if we’ve seen it play out on the screen many times. But what Jeethu and Santhi (writers ) do with this film is what makes this film standout in this genre. They have taken all same stock of many court room drama added with nuanced detailing only to open our eyes and ears to an ingenious take on a woman’s right to consent. Its not the rape incident, its the intricacies and frustrations of finding justice in an Indian courtroom even though we know who did the hideous crime. That's what makes it more gripping as drama. Even though the film is long, the drama is so strong and detailed that you will enjoy the arguments and tension it creates. Jeetu joseph really know how to make a crime drama with honesty and little bit of mystery
