CTRL(+Alt+)Delivers…but isn’t a perfect Escape..the film boldly explores the complexities of digital life blending romance, technology & thriller elements into a screen-life experience that’s both timely & gripping. Motwane’s flick dives deep into the power of AI & its impact on relationships, with Ananya’s performance as Nella stealing the show. Her portrayal…raw, vulnerable & fearless! perfectly capturing the emotional fallout of heartbreak in a world where nothing is private. The concept is strong, using familiar digital tools to craft a claustrophobic, immersive atmosphere. The visual execution is slick.. the transitions between apps, chats & video calls are seamless, making the film feel incredibly relevant to our tech-heavy lives. Where it stumbles slightly is in its pacing & character development. Allen (Aparshakti) is charming but could have been more menacing & Joe remains one-dimensional. While the film raises important questions about technology’s grip on modern life, it doesn’t dig quite as deep as it could have! The final act in particular, felt rushed when it should have heightened the tension. Despite a few bugs in the system, I thought it is a fantastic update to Bollywood OTT content ala almost ‘black mirrorish’. Ananya’s standout performance powers through like a flawless upgrade & the tech-driven narrative kept me plugged in. While the plot sure has a few glitches, CTRL still streams smoothly offering enough bandwidth for a thrilling, buffer-free watch!
