Streaming - VOD We all have seen or know the atrocities committed by nazis onjews. We all have seen the horrors of Auschwitz. But what was happening out of those Auschwitz walls among those officers and their daily lives. Was there any remorse? regrets? Or sympathetic? NO! Johnathan Glazer introduces us to family of nazi Commandant officer who was overlooking the camp operation. And the things you will see in this movie will make you feel disgusting about humans as species. How can someone be so cruel, ignorant and psychopath that they are enjoying, partying and having laugh in little paradise world they have built adjacent to the camp wall where everyday hundreds of jews were dying for no reason. To truly understand the horrors of this film you need to open your ears. Constant gunshots , screams , words coming from another side of the wall makes zero impact to these people who were living in their own bubble. Those screams & gunshots were like sounds of birds chirping, bees buzzing for those people, they were enjoying it and paid no attention. There is no two different places such as hell and paradise.. everything is right here and this is a great example of that. The only difference is that innocent people were in hell and devils were in paradise. Even the kids of that family learning to ignore the horrors they see everyday with their own eyes. The director cleverly uses colors like black & red screen to showcase the horror, it makes viewers uneasy. Some of the frames in this movie are so horrifying yet so brilliant. Such as overlooking the burning flames from Auschwitz chimneys, frames which show garden and barbed wire and walls, flowing creek of dead people. Director really tries to show us that we as humans have no soul , sympathy towards other human beings. Even in this day and age we all try to live in our little bubble and be ignorant to violence and injustice happening to Minorities and weak people. We are happy in our paradise even though it's burning hell outside the compound. As long as it doesn't burn us, we are cool with it.
